How we transport your vehicle
First and foremost we ensure the safety of our customers and staff during the Covid pandemic our drivers will always wear gloves and a face mask when handling your vehicle.
All vehicles will be sanitised with an industry approved solution on the inside and also on external contact points.
The next stage is to check the vehicles condition before moving with the customer—this information is collected on a form and signed by the customer as a true and accurate recording.
If required our driver will check that the customer has not left any personal belongings in the vehicle, by completing a visual check. (customers will sometimes forget to check areas such as seat pockets and under seat storage bins).
The vehicle is then loaded onto the transporter and secured.
To secure your vehicle the straps we use either over tyre wheel straps with three tyre gripper blocks per wheel (some customers request these to ensure there is no damage to the wheel – specifically alloys) we also use a standard set of straps with a polyester sleeve which fits over the front of the wheel (the soft material prevents wheel rim damage); the strap fits through the sleeve and loops round the back of the car wheel to secure it in place.
Where requested the vehicle is covered with a waterproof car cover which is then secured to the transporter
The vehicle is then transported to the delivery destination and unloaded.
Finally the receiving customer will check the condition of the vehicle against the check list completed on vehicle collection.
